So close, so far away

My flight to Liberia has been delayed for three hours and I am currently in the Brussels airport. So close, still so far away! Last night, I was so excited that I didn't sleep. I met a friend who will also be in the ship, so I am happily though tiredly commisserating with someone. There is a huge choir from Cote d'Ivoire on board with us and there's nothing like 50 loud voices demanding a refund!
