For the last fourteen days of my stay here, I will post one photo that describes a highlight (or lowlight ... lowdark?) of my day so that you can see my time as it comes to a close.

As for today... I'll title this The Science of Knitting.



In an effort to pass on the knitting skills, the ward supervisors asked me to teach the fifteen ward nurses who will sail with the ship to Benin this year. They have progressed so well, so easily and in one afternoon, two of the eight who came today managed to finish two baby hats. I passed onto them a standard hat pattern, as written on the white board.

It might not be calculus, but I'm sure it still looks like gibberish to some!
